SimplyWayfinding is provided as a licensed platform.
The software, design, and underlying code are independently developed and remain the intellectual property of SimplyWayfinding. Access to and use of the platform are provided under licence to authorised organisations.
How SimplyWayfinding is used
Organisations are granted permission to use SimplyWayfinding for internal or public-facing navigation purposes at agreed locations. This may include use by visitors, patients, staff, or members of the public accessing the platform via a web browser.
Licences are typically provided on a per-organisation or per-site basis.
What the licence allows
Under licence, authorised organisations may:
- Use SimplyWayfinding to support navigation within agreed sites or locations
- Make the platform available to end users via links, QR codes, or embedded access
- Request updates or changes as part of the agreed service
What the licence does not allow
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the licence does not permit:
- Copying, modifying, or redistributing the software or code
- Hosting the platform independently
- Sub-licensing or reselling the platform
- Using SimplyWayfinding outside the agreed scope or locations
Updates and changes
SimplyWayfinding is provided as a managed service. Configuration updates, content changes, and enhancements are delivered centrally to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
Ownership and intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in SimplyWayfinding, including the software, design, and documentation, remain with SimplyWayfinding.
No ownership rights are transferred through use of the platform.
