Terms for using SimplyWayfinding
SimplyWayfinding is a wayfinding platform operated by Allen Gibson. It provides hospital wayfinding guidance through QR links, search and route instructions.
Last updated: 23 July 2026
The service is in development and testing. Routes and interface features may change as the map data is reviewed, corrected and improved.
SimplyWayfinding provides route guidance, not live positioning. Your location is based on the start point you choose or the QR code you scan. It will not automatically update as you move.
Routes may not reflect temporary closures, lift outages, construction work, corridor restrictions, locked doors, restricted areas or other temporary site changes. Follow physical signs, barriers and instructions from hospital staff.
If a route appears unavailable, unsafe or inconsistent with the physical site, stop using that route and ask a member of staff, receptionist or volunteer for help.
SimplyWayfinding does not provide medical advice, emergency assistance, clinical information, appointment information or waiting-time information.
In an emergency, seek immediate help from hospital staff or call 999 where appropriate.
The "Stair-free" option means that the calculated route avoids known stair connections where the map data supports this. It does not guarantee that the entire route meets every individual accessibility requirement.
The service does not currently receive live information about lift failures or temporary access restrictions. If you need accessible assistance or the route is unsuitable, ask staff for help.
Reasonable efforts are made to keep route data accurate and the site available. Complete accuracy, uninterrupted availability and immediate updates for every site change cannot be promised.
Routes may be changed, corrected, temporarily removed or suspended where needed for safety, accuracy, testing or maintenance.
